S.A.L.E.M Kickstarter Aftermath | ReyGGTV

The Secret Archive of Legends, Enchantments and Monsters (abbreviated to as S.A.L.E.M or Salem) is an upcoming American animated series created by 24-year-old full time artist Samantha Sawyer, according to multiple sources, the show follows a young, purple cryptid named Salem, who is voiced by 38-year-old voice actress Laura Bailey, who has lived with their adopted guardian, the Boogeyman, who is voiced by 63-year-old American voice actor Rob Paulsen, who also voices the Cryptorium book, that Salem brings along, Rob is also well known to be in other works such as Animaniacs and Carl Wheezer in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Salem goes out with the aid of an enchanted book to discover their true self, and makes some friends along their journeys. One of those friends is Oliver, a wanna-be cryptid photographer, Oliver is voiced by 37-year-old American actor Adam McArthur, who is most known for his work in Disney's Star vs. The Forces of Evil as Marco Diaz. Another one of their friends is Petra, a psychic medium terrified of ghosts. The Kickstarter for the series had raised an estimated total of $73,000, enough to make the first pilot of the show, Samantha says. While there is currently no official release date or network it will be released on, sources say that the pilot of the series is estimated to be released in either late 2020 or Spring 2021. The pilot of the show is now reportedly entering into the writing stage.
