Why do I need a friend?
She does me no good.
When I’m sad,
She tries to make me glad,
But it turns out,
That she makes me mad.
And when I’m glad,
She usually is sad,
So I have to pretend,
I’m sad.

But when I really need someone,
I find here always there.
Waiting for me to tell her,
Would you come?
I need you here near me.

Yes, she comes and tells me,
Here I’m.
Maybe I was wrong,
She helps me that’s a fact,
After all I need a friend.
