put silk to shame.
Red locks thrown against the pillows
plead to be caressed.
sinewy hands on the clock
herald another hour of shrouded passion.

who would the night bring to my fortress,
what kind of lover would he be?
plodding along the old oak steps
my paramour it has to be.

Drowning in a vortex of kisses
bathed in the moonlight,
our limbs entiwned, where love rushes to meet.
