Ron Michaels Trio is a combination of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet, along with some smooth Jazz instrumentals. Ron Michaels, virtuoso trumpet player and vocalist, has performed for President Bush, the Ambassadors of Israel and China, and at the inauguration of Governor Ridge of PA. He played lead trumpet for Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Rosemary Clooney, Patti LaBelle, Phil Driscoll, David Liebman, Harry James Tribute Band, among others. He has recorded with Taylor Trumpets, and has appeared on various television and radio broadcasts, including ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX; radio Broadcasts include WASY, WCTC, WVOR FM 100, Q100 and many others. He studied with Claude Gordon, who is known for his systematic approach to brass playing, and is considered the "The King of Brass."
