Rock climbing World Cup held

Mumbai, May 16 (ANI): Over 80 rock climbers from across the world competed in Rock climbing World Cup, organized by the International Federation of Sports Climbing (IFSC), in Navi Mumbai. The three day event that began on May 14 saw participation from world's best climbers. During the competition, participants were given a few minutes to analyze a route up to the mountain, pre-determined by the organizers. Climbing one at a time, whoever gets the highest in the time allotted qualified for the next round. Sport climbing is one of five sports recommended for inclusion in the Olympics by organizers of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, along with skateboarding, surfing, baseball/softball and karate.
