Robbie Squires - Eight Years Ago
0 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
Flying over the horizon
Everything was fine
Until the building started blazing
Is this a dream? Is it a dream
Theres no way this could be
Think about what that man had said
How wed never forget this day
Eight years later the flags are high
And our spirits all are fine
It seems to me like we’ve forgot
How so many had to die
I was siting in the classroom
When I heard the news of this
Teachers running room to room
Turn it to channel six
Before my eyes
I watched them die
And could do nothing about it
Is this a dream? All in a dream
Theres no way this could be
Well I saw the knights in yellow
Going after the victims
Saying to themselves
We may never come out
We’ll stay in here forever
Disbelief struck the whole world
And we sat there and did nothing
Listen to what the man had said
Too bad hes not alive
Listen to what the man had said
Eight years ago he died
