Roadtrip part 3

After Yellowstone we moved on to Eastern Montana and the Little Bighorn Battlefield where on July 25, 1876, Custer and his 7th Cavalry was defeated by Sioux and Cheyenne Indians in the most famous Indian battle ever. It's also the only battlefield in the world where you can still see markers indicating where the soldiers fell (and some Indians), which makes it feel so much more real. We spent a whole day there and it wasn't a minute too much.
