Rita Shay - Am I Alive

Lately I've been feeling so worn down.
Watching the world go by, and waiting for my life to begin.
I'm afraid of feeling and I'm afraid I'm waisting the time I've got.
Lately everything hurts, even friends kind words can somehow sting
Like salt on a fresh paper cut.
Even I hit myself with words, terrible words.
Save me save me, I am lost. What is wrong and what is right?
I've overthought and I've been stupid and wished I could go back.
But does anyone else feel the way I do right now,
Screaming out into the black endless night?
