moved by gentle breezes
whispering through
an open window

curtains sway
in delicate rhythm

to the chorus
of tree frogs

peeping

hiding in plain sight
upon the furrowed trunk
of a crooked elm

watching me

and the day

turn in

blissfully succumbing
to sleep

and dreams of 'morrow
