Reshma Ramesh - Because you love me

My darling, you are the source,
You are reason these lines flow,
You make the poet in me grow.
I could not be better than this,
It is pure heavenly bliss,
Everything you say and do,
I find my poems in you.

They run across my mind,
colorful lines aligned,
Flying across my fingers,
On the nib they linger,
Land on the paper so white,
Fill the pages with light.

And then I look at them
In awe, surprised, wondering
Words happy, sad and amusing
Where did they come from?
I know not where they were
Born, born from you my dear,
From the faith you feed me,
Born from the seeds you sow in me,
From the love you made me see.
