Lord Brahma and Goddess Earth tell Lord Vishnu to save mankind from the atrocities of Ravana. Lord Vishnu assures them that soon Ravana’s tyranny will be put to an end. He also tells them how he is going to fulfil the promise made to Sage Kashyap and his wife Aditi and will reincarnate as their son in the Treta Yuga. Sage Kashyap and Aditi have taken birth as King Dashrath and Kaushalya in Treta Yuga. Lord Vishnu says that like always; good will triumph over evil and save mankind. King Dashrath reaches Ayodhya with Kaikeyi.
