Rajesh Thankappan - The Fall
0 Views • Jun 12, 2014
Description
But was cushioned
From a violent fall,
I pressed the triggers
But the bird was safely gone.
Had the pellet pierced
His joyous heart
Would I not have killed
A portion of my heart?
Some days later
I saw the bird flutter
Sing once again
On my window-sill
I then joined the bird
In his joyous song
And with his joy wove
For me a silent song.
