I have a pussy-cat
Who likes to mew
Delightful new songs
And old melodies anew

He breaks into a rap
Then changes track;
Jumps on to the mat and
Sings old melodies to the rats!

Such a queer mixture
Is my lovely pussy cat,
A good-hearted fellow
Who has never chased a rat!
