TRUE LOVE

Though you had left me and gone away,
To some place beyond my ken;
No matter wherever you go,
My thoughts shall forever remain!
I will move in and out, like the butterfly
in your dreams,
And my thoughts like the shadow will
follow, -
Even in your waking day dreams!
At times I may appear like some old sad
song;
Like a sweet refrain in your mind and
heart, -
The place where I really belong!
And while walking down the highway,
My face may just peep out,
From that distant rainbow ahead,
Which will put you in some doubt!
My thoughts shall forever haunt you,
No matter what you do;
And I shall always remain in your mind,
Since my love for you is true!
