Description
AFRICA
Africa, that ‘Dark Continent’ of
ancient days,
The very womb of creation;
That pre-historic cradle of all
mankind!
Where the first humans learned
To walk erect - as Homo-Erectus!
Where on both feet stood the
fore-fathers of all mankind!
Remains, as the pre-historic and
ancient nursery of all civilization!
Yet by some cruel and tragic irony
of fate,
From Africa came the slaves in
bondage!
Segregated and racially discriminated
by our civilized men!
But this black pearl shall forever remain, -
the mother of all pearls!
And shall forever adorn civilization’s
crowned head, for all times to come!
