Rafe Chanteloup - Traffic
20 Views • Jun 14, 2014
Description
Swearing at every red light
Risking my life to run through yellows
Rain blurs my vision and clouds judgment
The hard edge of the law
Claws at every snag in my
Over-sized ego, slowing my progress
I feel a shift in the winds
However small-insignificant like me-
Pushing my vehicle, until I shift
Into autopilot, like the rest.
Until I can see past the bright
lights laying pavement before me
I remain as blind as this Earth
Imprisoned by clouds and
Caught in traffic.
