Over the rainbow
The sky might be blue
But you can't tell from here,
It just seems a dull hue.
The clouds must be blocking
That magnificent view
Of over the rainbow
Where the birds might be red
And the sun might be bright
But from here all I see
Is the grey and the white.
The pain is so shocking
I’m spinning round and round
So the colors of the rainbow
All mix into brown.
Perhaps one day
Out of that ugly dark tone
Can grow a brightly colored rose
But today it just seems
Over the rainbow
