Rachel Beggs - Empty

Description
And it’s slowly killing me.
A space far too big to hide,
And from which I can’t be free.
It feels like something’s missing,
Like my life has yet to start.
The pain that is flowing, kissing
My silent, ice filled heart.
Normal actions never working,
Rational thought stripped away.
Replaced by the ache always lurking,
Throughout all my endless days.
How can I keep from burning,
When life’s tearing up my soul?
I still have no way of learning,
How to make my parts whole.
Someone please stop me from drowning,
In an ocean of unshed tears.
I need somebody to save me
And fight away all my fears.
But I know they don’t exist,
I lost all hope long ago.
I have no more strength to resist;
Feeling empty is all I know.
