R-22 is on a phase-out schedule to eliminate its usage by the year 2020. Equipment owners who currently use R-22 with HVACR equipment will need to use refrigerant alternatives as the demand for R-22 becomes greater than the supply. The DuPont™ ISCEON® line of refrigerants covers all applications where R-22 has been in place, at a range of temperatures from refrigeration to air conditioning.
