Description
Velocity vector plot and vorticity contours of estimated fluid motion from input PIV images, using wavelet-based optical-flow methods.
This flow features concomitant jets. This video represents 128 (independently estimated) velocity fields.
It features the development of Kelvin-Helmholtz instability in the upper region, and the tri-dimensionalization of the vortices in the lower region.
