Push Notifications in Ionic with Amazon SNS

In this tutorial we're going to look at how to implement push notifications in an Android App using the Google Cloud Messaging Platform.
We will be using the Ionic framework, Cordova to create the app and Amazon SNS(Simple Notification Service) to send the notifications.
