Harry Kim will talk about the essentials of a successful musician. Using video he will include personal experiences with Quincy Jones, Phil Collins, and others.

Susan Slaughter, the first woman in the world to serve as principal trumpet in a major orchestra, will recount experiences from her 40 years with the St. Louis Sym. Orch.

Jeff Purtle will show how to apply Claude Gordon's teaching that contributed to the successful careers of both Harry Kim and Susan Slaughter. This will be enhanced by live demonstrations, video clips and computer slides.
