Purge

A non-linear story about an ex-convict, his best friend, an old flame, and a former partner-in-crime who come to grips with their fates in the course of a few days.

This film was made for the Spring 2012 Ellensburg Film Festival "Show Us Your Shorts" competition. The film took home the Audience Award for Best Picture and the Judge's Award for Best Editing (Daniel Bostick).

The film had to be written, shot, and edited in sixty hours. Each group drew certain criteria that must be followed (prop, character trait/plot device, location, songs). Our stipulations were:

Props: Balloon and Lollipop
Location: Barge/McConnell Plaza (Central Washington University)
Character Trait: Arrogance
Songs: "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys and "It's The End of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" by R.E.M.
