Prosthetic is only one device extension that replace a missing body part. It is part of the field of biomechatronics, using mechanical devices with human muscle ,skeleton, and nervous system to assist by disease or any defect.
Orthotics is an orthopedic device which support the function of the torso& which in the medical field concerned with manufacture and application of orthoses.
