Promenade urbaine

In the street.
This time the person is the laughing portrait of a young woman suggested on a black and white photocopy. The picture is autonomous (like a jumping jack freed from its ties). It strolls in the streets, playing with the obstacles it is confronted to. Following the picture on its way we recon sounds of squeaking tyres, screams, and crying as though somewhere a terrible scene was taking place.
The simultaneity of one visual and one acoustical narrative stream causes a double movement of our attention between what is visible in the picture and what we hear. It is this interdependence between sound and picture I wanted to concentrate on, to observe how they influence each other and how this opens up the frame of the video.
