Janus has just been released from prison and his younger brother Jakob has run away from his foster family. Together they work for the gangleader Lasse. They buy pills from poor old-age pensioners and resell them. It's a tough and brutal world they live in. The disillusioned Janus tries to teach his more innocent brother to survive in a cruel world, but the relationship between them is being put to the test as Janus falls in love with Eva.
