PM Modi greets nation on Easter

New Delhi, Mar 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted the nation on the occasion of Easter. The PM tweeted, “Easter greetings to people around the world. Let us recall Jesus Christ's inspiring teachings & strengthen bonds of harmony & togetherness.” President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari also extended their wishes on the occasion of Easter. Easter is being celebrated across the nation to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the central figure of Christianity, after crucifixion and death at Calvary on Good Friday.
