Usually classical guitarists when they have to face a fast scale, will use the traditional fingering index-middle.
Of course you can reach speed this way with the proper way to practice, but it will still sound more or less “staccato”. Thus, if you want a flawless scale or trait, you will have to look for a different type of fingering.
In this video lesson I show you how to create some scales with 3 notes per string in order to use a repetitive pattern, to make speed easier.
