Phil Whittaker - Revenge yourself

Death is subtle in his deception,
I thought he was coming...
he disappoints,
Yet again the attempt fails,
Why don't I just give up?
Because even when I try I fail.

Talent strewn through my career,
Never used, but there none the less,
Genius prevails the vapour of my breathe.
Why was it never used?
Why was it abused?
Now I want nothing but revenge.

I abused myself, I used me,
Now I ponder,
How to revenge yourself?
