How long till the guilt consumes me
How long till the monsters are real
When will they declare me clinically insane
Is it after I tell them how I feel
Is it wrong that I witnessed you torture my loved one
And said nothing because I recognized the demons of your own
And ignored the burnt marks on a helpless womans body
To help you recover after and be strong
This will be my eternal burden, this will weigh on me until I depart
Because your struggle was too uncomfortable to deal with
And no one gave me a clear definition of wrong
So I declare myself as much of a murderer as you are
And I will carry this cross to my grave
And I will hate you forever for this
But also love you
Because you're my blood, as was she
