PERA Negotiated

JeffCo Superintendent Cindy Stevenson admits that meeting mandated PERA requirements are negotiable at the local level. "It's a matter of cash flow" JeffCO has CHOSEN not to have employees pick up their additional PERA contribution requirements. Instead, these costs keep getting passed off to taxpayers. But don't worry, it's in the budget. How about JeffCO puts teacher jobs and critical expenses back in the budget and take PERA and their wasteful spending out of the budget.
