Harsh is the path you travel.
Heavy is the burden you bear.
Grave is the wound you suffer.
Cruel is the fate you hold.

Onward midnight’s soldier
Unforgiving is the battle you endure.
Through the eternal strife
Ever shall you march
For you are midnight’s soldier

Deep in the flames you stride.
Always forward, though the rising tide
Against the malice and the hate
You who would defy your fate.

Even now the blood flows
As it weeps still from the mortal blow
Silent while your soul is consumed
You who would suffer the wound

Onward midnight’s soldier

The horizon is far
The memory will fade, not the scar
For this will ever be certain
You who carries the burden

Stay fast the broken road
Never falter as the grounds erode
Through endless waves of burning wrath
You who won’t stray from your path

You are my sword
I am your sheath
Midnight is my name
And you are my soldier
