"Pasture Walk" - English

This video contains footage of the plant life on the Padres Mesa Ranch presented in both English.

A healthly cycle of disturbance, and rest will keep grasses healthy. Grasses are meant to be disturbed after all, primarily by grazing but also by fire. Good ground cover helps reduce ground temperature and enhances soil moisture. The soil also tends to be richer in nutrients.

Whatever your goals with your land, those goals are often enhanced by having a health duality of disturbance and regrowth.
