No word I know that can do
bring solace to your heart,
betrayed, humiliated, hurt.


No place I know, resting for you
to give you peace of mind
shattered, broken, ruined.


No friend I know, who can do
erase your agony, pain, grief
so intense, terrible, deep.


But no fear, I tell you, yourself dear
Time is the best healer I hear
don't loose your hopes, just bear.
