as before
I did not
want to make
a mistake.

Mistake of
not saying
those three words
I thought you
surely longed
to hear
from me.

I thought
I shouldn't
surely make
a mistake.

This time
instead
I said
in haste
those three words
and I
came to know
I made
a mistake.
