Palas Kumar Ray - Stairs
2 Views • Nov 08, 2014
Description
Stairs.
Stairs up,
Stairs down
Stairs beside.
Lefts and rights.
At the crossing I'm.
Which way to take?
Where to go from here?
Leaving you aside, I ask myself.
Where should I go? What to wish?
Why so lonely do I find myself?
Why do I feel myself being forlorn?
Is it somewhere I wished to come?
Is it somewhere you wished me to go?
From you afar did you wish to send me here?
Weren't you happy with me? Wasn't it I with you?
Why din't you stop me coming? Didn't I listen to you?
Wherever I see I find only me! Reflecting my images, rest unknown!
Why did you send me so far from you where from I can't even see your face?
Now I fear going farther away from here. Let me come down to my amorous earth. Please, don't say no. I'm so tired of climbing stairs. Let me come down to the warmth of our hut.
Let me live with you the rest of our moments not much long we must know of this life.Lets do share our joy and sorrow. Lets again together enjoy a popular country song or lets together, together we share our moments of prayer. Let us feel the air together at our yard, at our barn.
Let us together a new dream we yarn.Let us, Let us, Let us, whatever we do, we do it together.
Let us together we forget the nightmare of remaining apart.
