Our Black & White Time

Shot near about two and half years back, during our higher secondary board exams. Abridged during the exam and finally rendered on our math paper day. There was a panic to complete it by the time HS was over. A psychosomatic dogma was in the gray cells: “We are leaving our school!”. It is intact as it was. No re-editing tendered.

That was our pass out year, which was palpable and idyllic inspiration behind making of it. The last filmic substantiation of the hoary building (not any more) is in it.

Fundamentally, the idea was to produce a ‘go through journey’ for the spectator like us, who sense their school memories very much like as lamented loveship memories and not the less. It is essentially a filmic latitude to revise the memories through pictorial catalysts.

Amateurish camera,narrating language,editing stuff and photographic quality(as till then, we didn’t cross the boundary of ‘2 taaka’r ghoogni’ or ‘ 1 taaka’r hojmi’ Days), but a mature food for a journey through the black and white memoir of all of Barasat Peary Charan Sarkar Govt. High School days.

It’s basically a past motionscape of our School with the fragrance of sensations, some significant frames and connecting words.

This might be more relevant to our batch as most of them are in this film, vindicate me for not being equal relevant to all of us. :-)
