Opening Remarks to The Stride Center | Michael E. Parker

Michael E. Parker gave opening remarks to The Stride Center, a non-profit that helps underserved communities receive technical training and helps them get the skills, certifications, and confidence to obtain jobs in the technical field.

The Stride Center indicated they've failed to keep participants motivated to complete their programs due to circumstances. Not everyone has major hardships, but they do lack the resources many people outside of their communities have access to. So, they hired You Are A CEO to come in and facilitate a Self-Leadership Program to give them the soft skills they need to take what The Stride Center is giving them in to the workforce. This video is Michael E. Parker giving opening remarks to the students we are working with and this was the first day where we did a 7 hour boot camp to kick things off.

It is a six month program, or 22 weeks, and You Are A CEO did a 7 our boot camp, will be doing five 90-minute success forums throughout the program and then partnering with The Stride Center to host a graduation event for these students at the end of the program.
