OPEN WATER

This movie review first appeared on the "Top Hat And Buttered Popcorn" program that aired bi-monthly on the Fairfax County (VA) cable television station, Channel 10. It was hosted by John Savers. This was a film based on an actual event in the northeast coastal waters of Australia. This movie told a tale of a couple who went on a boating and scuba-diving tour that became a nightmare for them. It isn't too complicated or expensive-looking, but it can get to you a little at the end. It was directed by Chris Kentis. It starred Blanchard Ryan, Daniel Travis and Saul Stein.
