Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Renato Calabria has developed the one stitch facelift for women who are not yet ready for a full facelift. This minimally invasive procedure is performed with the patient under local anesthesia, and is done by making a small incision at the level of the sideburns, undermining the skin. The skin is pulled upward to give the patient a natural and youthful look. Although the procedure is done in the operating room, Dr. Calabria calls the one stitch facelift a “lunchtime lift” due to its convenience and minimal downtime.
