On The Road With Sublime With Rome

In 2009, former band members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson started performing under the Sublime name again, with singer Rome Ramirez as their lead vocalist. After some adjustments and name changes throughout the years, Sublime With Rome is now touring with original bandmate Wilson still on bass, Carlos Verdugo on drums, and Ramirez leading with vocals. Verdugo is the newest addition to the band, offering a different writing style, which helped the band record its latest album, though much of their sound is influenced by Sublime itself. Ramirez and the band is also influenced by cannabis, because smoking helps take the edge off, to where they can just focus on what they're trying to say or play. Sublime With Rome has been touring long enough now, that they have a wide net of people everywhere, so they can smoke and hang wherever they play, so cannabis will always be part of the Sublime culture.
