The years of youth and aggression. I still remember hitting the stage with these guys, show after show, unstoppable.

Reborn in the winter of 2007 from the ashes of NEGATIVE CREEPS, one of the pivotal acts of the Hellenic metal scene, the band emerged under a new name: THE SOURCE. With the addition of two new members, Stam on guitars and Atri on bass, the lineup was refreshed and recharged ready to conquer the live stages. Together, they unleashed a relentless assault of modern thrash, driven by speed, aggression, and raw energy.

Their sound is a direct homage to their roots and earliest influences, drawing heavily from the spirit of ’80s thrash metal. Blending velocity, melody, heaviness, and razor-sharp shredding with a strong emphasis on mature songwriting, THE SOURCE have forged an ambitious and extreme sonic identity, shaped by years of live performances, recording sessions, and label experience both in Greece and abroad.
