Omara Portuondo

Uma noite com dois shows no Festival Internacional de Jazz de Montreal: uma jovem acostumada à estrada e uma veterana. O primeiro show foi da caboverdeana, Mayra Andrade. Ela já é conhecida do público de Montreal e dessa vez trouxe na bagagem o disco "Navega" com ritmos como Morna, Coladera, Funana e Batuque. O segundo show foi o de Omara Portuondo. No palco, 60 anos de carreira e um disco novo que leva o nome dela.

One evening with two concerts at the Montreal International Jazz Festival: a young woman used to the road and a veteran. The first concert was with the cabo verde girl, Mayra Andrade. She is already known of the Montreal audience and this time she brought in the luggage the CD "Navega" with rhythms such as Morna, Coladera, Funana and Batuque.
