NORWEGIAN AURA - First Impressions

Norwegian Cruise Line unveiled its newest newbuild project: the NORWEGIAN AURA. She is being built by Fincantieri in Italy. With a gross tonnage of 169,000, she will be approximately 10 percent larger than her Leonardo-class predecessors. She will accommodate 3,840 passengers based on double occupancy. The NORWEGIAN AURA is scheduled to set sail for the first time in 2027, beginning with a short spring season in Europe starting in May 2027. From June 2027, she will be deployed for Caribbean cruises with Miami as her home port – that's the plan.
