Nortel Networks mailbox locked

If your Nortel phone says "mailbox locked - see admin", then video show you how to unlock it.

You may have a Nortel 7310, 7316, or a 7208 that gives you this message.

The Nortel voicemail (sometimes called Startalk) will lock the user's voicemail box after a few unsuccessful attempts to login with the wrong password.

Normally, the unlocking (or password reset) is done by the phone system administrator. However, may small and even mid-sized businesses don't have a formal PBX admin. So, the responsibility falls on the office manager. Or, just whoever happens to be brave enough to take on the responsibility of managing the phones.
