No Go Zones : This documents a day in the life of a gangster on the Cape Flats(Areas allocated to so called "Coloured" and Black people) South Africa, in particular The Ugly Americans☆[UA] in Rocklands, whom I have grown up observing my entire life, I for one....do not support nor do I condone this lifestyle however to some it is a means to an end, a sense of belonging and a way to earn respect by any means possible What you see is blood thirsty monsters(which is true to an extent) What I see is ordinary people whose lives were shaped to rebel, living for anarchy and lawlessness, life on the edge as a result of dysfunctional families, poverty,poor mindsets, absent parents and no heroes. A product of an evil regime,marginalized...overlooked i.e self destruct...and so we do Had it not been for religion, "Coloured" people would have nothing to latch onto but the "culture" we have adopted, which I won't say means nothing as I am part of it however our true identities was stolen, how does a race group that comprises of 7 different nations find unity?
