Nine Maoists surrender in Chhattisgarh
Description
Kondagaon (Chhattisgarh), Aug 20 (ANI): In a boost to security operations, nine Maoists have surrendered in Chhattisgarh's Kondagaon district. Among those who have surrendered are two women. Police said these Maoists were involved in many criminal activities in the area. Chhattisgarh is a hotbed of Maoist activity and security forces have launched many operations against them through the years.
