Are you sitting comfortably in your skin
Not too fat
Not too thin
Not too brown
Not too white
Not as black
As a moonless night

If you want to fit comfortably
Into the game
You must sit next to skin
That’s exactly the same

Don’t imagine that different
Or precious or rare
Will hold back the jackals
Just waiting out there

The jackals are fat
The jackals are thin
With hideous pasty blemished skin

But the jackals are pack
So they’re all right
You can hear them shriek
On a moonless night

Are you sitting comfortably in your skin
Then I’ll begin.
