It was night
The shadows fell around us like wet february snow
Clinging to the secret creases in between us
And I told you
I told you everything I had ever believed in
And how many of my old beliefs are
buried with the same emotions that now drive me onward
You left me
Cold and alone, buried in the darkness of silence
But faith in your return has thawed my useless heart
out and kept me barely hanging to life
barely hanging on to the notion that Im worth more alive
But Im not
Im worth as much to you as I am to everyone else (nothing)
How have I become useless to the only one I love?
