A noir-like character study which centers around Cooper Michaels, a washed up journalist-turned hot TV producer who fell off from fame and power with his crack addiction, only to come back to Baltimore and try and restart his career investigating a story about a murder suicide involving an up and coming artist by the name of Swiss William$, a.k.a, "The Jay-Z Of The Art World". In piecing together the murder mystery, Cooper also tries to reassemble the fractured pieces of his own personal life. In Part 9, Scott reluctantly takes the advice of his art rep--Courtney Rose Silas--and talks to Cooper Michaels, a decision he almost begins to regret as soon as the interview begins.
